Well, i spent all of yesterday afternoon crafting, Tia was at her dads so no disruptions or calls of 'can you help me' or 'can i try that'

I had been looking on the docrafts web site for ideas and thought i would try out this technique (i think it was called teabag folding)

The backing flowered paper came free with a magazine and i used the same paper for the tea bag folding

I decided to try the flower that Nicki demonstrated at the demonstration day, so using my new toy i cut 6 of the scalloped circles and distressed them with spun sugar

the ribbon and card were from my collection of things

I'm quite pleased with the finished effect although the bow would have looked better in a slightly different colour and wider ribbon

Enjoy

  1. Love the flower!!! I really like it when there are 3D flowers on cards as I think it makes them extra special. Really pretty papers too xxx

  2. Oh that is VERY pretty Michelle, love that flower and well done on the teabag folding. Not a technique I've tried in all my years of crafting.
